VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Technicians are responsible for assisting the doctors in the examination and operating rooms, running laboratory procedures, taking radiographs, and working in the pharmacy. Technicians must be proficient in the areas of client communication, treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, and operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment. They will also be responsible for hospital maintenance, inventory, and management of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK STAFF
Receptionists are the first people to greet our clients, so we need professional and helpful people to greet our clients and answer any questions that the client may have. Receptionists must be comfortable multi-tasking at the front desk, as jobs include answering the phone, using our computer system, filing, and checking our clients in and out. Great communication skills and computer knowledge are necessary.
VETERINARY ASSISTANT/KENNEL STAFF
Kennel staff are the people most in contact with our patients, the animals. Kennel staff must love to work with animals and be dedicated to their care and comfort. The staff will be cleaning kennels, exam rooms, and client areas. Kennel Staff will also be walking pets and assisting the veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure the best possible care for our patients and clients. Kennel staff are independent, task-oriented workers that love being part of the Lansing team.
