Lansing Animal Hospital was founded in 1957 by Dr. Douglas Darlington to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to the pets of our community. Today, Lansing Animal Hospital continues this tradition, and our hospital includes a full diagnostics laboratory, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, and a complete pharmacy.

We serve the pet care needs of a number of communities including: Lansing, Munster, Glenwood, Thornton, Hammond, South Holland, Calumet City, Highland, Chicago, Lynwood, Dyer, Chicago Heights, Schererville, and many other South Suburban and Northwest Indiana Communities.
Our hospital is open 6 days a week for veterinary care and operates primarily on a walk-in basis. For boarding, surgeries, and other extensive procedures, please be advised that an appointment will need to be scheduled in advance by contacting (708) 474-0021.
